Dawn arrived slowly; the sky glowed with a dull gray to signal its arrival. I remained where I was, on the bed, curled into a tight ball. My legs were pushed into my chest and my arms were wrapped tightly around my knees. My head, full of grief and a dangerous migraine, was buried in my arms. I stayed in this pose throughout the whole night. That was the reason why the room was full of boxes... I just didn't have a desire to unpack.
